The article presents the results of an experimental study of the features of the manifestation of anxiety in older preschool children in the context of their involvement in the educational process. The data obtained indicate that preschoolers with a high level of anxiety may experience specific learning and development difficulties, which are most pronounced in activity, its effectiveness, behavior and the development of the child's personality as a whole. The results of the study can serve as a basis for the development of programs of psychological and pedagogical support for older preschool children with manifestations of anxiety in preschool educational organizations.
