Аbstract
This article theoretically reveals the specifics of speech communication of preschool children with impaired sound-producing, lexical, grammatical, semantic aspects of speech. The features of verbal contact, through which the development of communication abilities of preschoolers in the process of correctional and educational activities, are revealed. The importance of providing comprehensive assistance in overcoming speech difficulties in development is assumed. The article describes the influence of psychological health on the further development of speech in children. Recommendations on the organization of speech therapy, special and psychological assistance are disclosed.
