The article is devoted to the study of the relationship between the stylistic properties of personality and success in life. The theoretical analysis of the concepts of "stylistic personality traits" and "life success" is carried out, their role in the self-realization of an individual is substantiated. Stylistic personality traits are stable, individual-specific ways of adapting a person to activities, communication and environmental influences. Life success is an indicator determined through a subjective and objective assessment of a person's achievements in the professional, personal and social spheres. It includes career achievements, the level of material well-being, the quality of interpersonal relationships, and overall life satisfaction.
The study uses a comprehensive methodological approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis: a theoretical review of the literature and an empirical study of the relationship between stylistic personality characteristics and indicators of life success. Participants of the empirical study: 120 people aged 25-45 years (58 men, 62 women), all with higher education, working in various fields (business, education, medicine, civil service). The sample was formed by the method of targeted selection. Applied techniques: 1. The method of diagnosis of stylistic personality traits is an adapted version of the questionnaire by A.G. Shmelev. 2. The Life Success Questionnaire is an author's 20–point questionnaire that evaluates respondents' subjective satisfaction with the main areas of life. 3. The method of diagnosing the level of subjective control (USC) (E.F. Bazhin et al.) was used to assess internal motivation as a potential mediator between stylistic characteristics and success. The data was processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 software. Empirical data have revealed how various stylistic properties – confidence, self–regulation, adaptability and reflection - affect life success in professional and personal spheres.
