Deviant behavior is a common psychological phenomenon among the younger generation, which in one way or another affects their legal consciousness. The formation of legal consciousness in adolescents with deviant behavior is an important task that requires a comprehensive approach.
This article examines the psychological characteristics of deviant adolescents and the factors influencing the development of their legal consciousness. The theoretical part of the study also analyzes key concepts such as legal consciousness, legal nihilism, and deviant behavior. In addition, the structural components of legal consciousness and legal nihilism are discussed.
Regarding the empirical research, an authorial survey was conducted among the study participants, specifically 20 adolescents with destructive behavior, to determine their level of legal consciousness. The analysis results indicate a predominance of medium and low levels of legal awareness and legal socialization among deviant adolescents.
This scientific study will be useful for psychologists and educators working with adolescent students exhibiting deviant behavior.
