Abstract

The article contains a study to identify the psychological features of perceptual relationships between parents and children in the family. Based on theoretical analysis, starting from the works of ancient philosophers devoted to the family, the relationship between parents and children in the family, raising children, as well as analyzing the works of scientists studying the areas of modern psychology, family psychology, psychology of communication, social psychology, the concepts of perceptual attitude and social perception were defined, the scientific views of scientists were analyzed, the features of the formation of perceptual relationships between parents and children were described. Also, based on theoretical and methodological research, experimental work was organized. To achieve the objectives of the study, the experimental work used the Dembo-S. Rubinstein personality self-assessment technique, the E.G.Eidemiller, V.V.Yustitskis questionnaire (OKT) "Analysis of family relationships", the A.Ya.Varga and V.V.Stolina questionnaire to determine parental relationships. During the writing of the article, 61 teenagers took part in the study, a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the research results was carried out. The types and methods of upbringing in the family, expressed in the control of parents over the child and their attitude towards him, as the nature of the relationship between parents are directly related to the personal and psychological qualities of the parents. The creation of conditions in the family for the full physical, mental and spiritual development of children are considered as factors influencing the formation of perceptual relationships between parents and children. In the course of our research we tried to determine the unity of three main components: parents' control over the child, their attitude towards him and methods of influence, demands, praise, punishment, etc. The article concludes that the type of family education and parental styles have a significant psychological impact on the formation of positive perceptual relationships between parents and children.
