The purpose of this study is to determine whether perfectionist personality trait in university students predicts their academic procrastination and life satisfaction. The study involved 90 students of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay. The data were collected using the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale to study the perfectionist personality trait, the Student Procrastination Scale to study academic procrastination and the Life Satisfaction Scale. Based on the results of the study, a regression analysis was conducted. The analysis showed that self-directed perfectionism significantly predicted academic procrastination and life satisfaction. Moreover, other-oriented and socially prescribed perfectionism did not predict academic procrastination and life satisfaction of students.
