Abstract

The article considers the main directions of professional activity of future psychologists, including the emotional sphere. Here is a psychological analysis of the works of domestic and foreign scientists on the scientific and theoretical foundations of emotions. Recommendations were made that emotion has an important role in the activity of the psychologist. A review of the current needs in the work of a psychologist and the features of services provided in it was conducted. Within this direction, a study was conducted for first and fourth-year students of the specialty "Psychology". Based on the results of the study, a statistical analysis was made according to the Kruskal-Wallis criteria, their emotional intelligence was identified on a scale and indicators were analyzed. The knowledge and skills acquired by future psychologists at the University suggest that their professional activities are carried out in this article, in connection with emotional intelligence. According to our article, it is important for a future psychologist to know the specifics of managing and evaluating their emotional state.
