The article is devoted to an urgent problem - the work on the correction of the emotional state of younger schoolchildren on the basis of family relations, which has not lost its significance at any stage of society. A lot of personality traits are formed in the family, and future abilities and shortcomings begin to emerge. Here the foundation of a person's morality is laid, his inner soul, individuality, and norms of behavior are formed. The peculiarities of the character of parents, manifested in interpersonal relationships in the family, have a direct impact on the relationships that develop in the family, and encourage the choice of specific styles of family education. The authors conducted an in-depth analysis based on theoretical literature, research work on the research topic. In particular, the correlation of the emotional state of children with the following characteristics of the family was revealed: maternal deprivation, features of the relationship of adults with children, the emotional attitude of the child to parents, features of the relationship of children in the family with each other.
Based on the results of the primary diagnosis of experimental experimental work, a program of psychological correction in the first direction was compiled and its effectiveness in creating a favorable family environment was determined. As a result, it is proved that positive changes occur in the development of the child's intelligence, i.e. a positive impact on intelligence can be made through the organization of a favorable family environment.
