The article considers the characteristics of professional training of future specialists for professional activity, determines its factors and components. The issue of psychological readiness of future specialists for professional activity in the system of updated education in the Republic of Kazakhstan will also be raised. An important role is played by the preparation of a future specialist for his professional activity, one of the main components of which is psychological training. In an effort to study the formation of students 'psychological readiness for professional activity, the authors use the methods of observation, questioning, the methods of "Research of the level of communicative control" (M. Schneider), "Diagnostics of personality orientation" (V. Smekal, M. Kucher) and the method of "Personality typology and attractive professional environment" by D. Holland. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were drawn and recommendations were made to solve the problem. Theoretical analysis, the results of empirical research allowed us to develop a program for the effective formation of psychological readiness of students for future professional activities, and it was proposed.
