In this scientific article, cases of conducting a comprehensive in-depth examination of speech disorders in children with special educational needs are considered. Some methods of organization of the survey aimed at systematic detection of violations of language components are highlighted. The earlier the detection of language disorders is carried out, the more effective the early implementation of appropriate corrective work will be. The implementation of the choice of the main methods of examination and corrective measures for the correct speech of children depends on the professionalism of each speech therapist. For a comparative analysis of the speech characteristics of a normal child in the identification of speech disorders, the main patterns and specific examples are given. The advantage of using modern methods in the effective organization of correctional work is expressed.
