Abstract

The article defines the essence and theoretical and methodological foundations of the social role of a specialist, considers pedagogical and psychological aspects. Currently, one of the most relevant areas of theory and practice of higher pedagogical education is the process of forming professionally significant qualities of future specialists. A special teacher is almost always an extremely versatile, active, energetic person, confident in the successful outcome of their activities, friendly. It is characterized by a moral assessment of the role of a person with disabilities. The professional worldview of a special teacher is the result of understanding and personal assessment of processes occurring in the social and spiritual world and affecting the place and role of people with special educational needs in the life of society. The pedagogical influence of a professional on him is manifested as an active person who directly affects the adaptation of people with special educational needs to a normal environment in society. Indispensable and professionally important qualities of a defecologist teacher are endurance, endurance. The results of his professional activity are often delayed over time, and only faith in the favorable outcome of his work gives him strength and inspiration for further work.
