Emotional intelligence forms the point of cognition of cognitive and emotional abilities, it contributes to our resilience, motivation, empathy, reasoning, stress management, communication, as well as our ability to socialize. Emotional intelligence is a very important construct that gives every person the opportunity to realize a fuller and happier life.
The article considers the problem of emotional intelligence and its development in the course of empirical research on the basis of formative experiment. The hypothesis of the study was a hypothesis about the possibility of developing emotional intelligence in the course of targeted training in the form of socio-psychological training on the basis of a specially developed program. The selection consisted of a group of teachers - 33 people. With the help of methods D.V. Lucin, produced 2 measurements - before the start of training and immediately after training. The results of the study showed significant differences in the group of teachers for the second time on the general level of emotional intelligence, as well as on the scale of emotional intelligence. The results obtained can be used to develop educational programs of emotional intelligence and programs of personal and professional growth.
