In modern society, in connection with the increase in the number of divorces, late marriages, the rejection of marriage of young people and adults, the study of the psychological health problem of married and unmarried people is becoming urgent.
The concept of "psychological health" in psychology is not new, however, Kazakhstani scientists have little studied topic. In this regard, the goal of our study is to examine the essence of the concept of "psychological health", its constituent components.
Our theoretical analysis allowed us to consider the concept, structure, and components of “psychological health” from the standpoint of different authors, and to define this phenomenon as the well-being of the person necessary for life.
The article presents an understanding of psychological health as a subjective well-being that ensures the formation of personality; a model of a psychologically healthy person is described (understanding oneself, others, capable of activity, etc.).
The results of the analysis complement the scientific concept of the concept of psychological health, form the basis for work on human well-being.
