The problem of "life satisfaction" from the point of view of psychological science is of considerable interest, associated primarily with the development of social, humanitarian and social sciences. This problem becomes especially important in the framework of studying life satisfaction in the young generation in our country. This is explained by the fact that our country is going through a transition process, which is influenced by various factors such as the integration of Kazakhstan into the global community, population growth and others. Consequently, there are more young people compared to the older generation, which in turn shows a positive trend of population growth in our country. Thus, the purpose of this article is to conduct a comparative analysis of life satisfaction and gender identity among young people.
The methodological basis is the theories of Z. Freud, J. B. Watson, Ed. L. Thorndike, V. Frankl, etc., considering the problem of satisfaction, happiness, meaning of life, existentia, etc.
The research was conducted with the help of standardized and validated methods, which show that there are differences in life satisfaction of subjects with different gender identities.
This article makes a significant contribution to the development of humanistic and positive psychology and is related to the development of psychological well-being and life satisfaction of young people in Kazakhstan.
