Abstract

The article presents the results of a study that included translation and reliability analysis of 4 questionnaires applicable to the assessment of well-being indicators. The short versions of the questionnaires “Satisfaction With Life Scale” (SWLS-3) and “Harmony In Life Scale” (HILS-3) allow us to assess each of them separately, as well as complementing each other, a person's life satisfaction. When supplementing these techniques with the Authenticity Scale, it becomes possible to determine changes in the indicators of personal well-being in the process of personal growth. The eudaemonic component of well-being with an emphasis on personal expressiveness can be assessed using the questionnaire MEWB presented in this article, constructed from two widely used, but not translated into Russian previously, scales QWEB and LRI-R. All the methods presented in the article were translated by the authors of the article from English into Russian, and the data obtained with their application were analyzed using the methods of mathematical and statistical analysis. As a result, after translation, these questionnaires have the following Cronbach's Alpha reliability indices “Satisfaction With Life Scale” 0.775, “Life In Harmony Scale” 0.857. Together, these two scales can be used as a two-factor scale with an even higher Cronbach's Alpha of 0.857. On the “Authenticity Scale” Cronbach's Alpha was 0.838. The MEWB Eudemonic Well-Being Assessment Questionnaire has a value of 0.853. The consistency scores of the scales after translation allow us to recommend them for use in research and practice.
