Abstract

The scientific article touched upon the problem of teaching students with an autism spectrum disorder, a group that makes up the category of children with special educational needs in modern inclusive education. Representatives of this category are characterized by complex mixed developmental disorders, low rates of learning, adaptation, and general health. Therefore, the organization of school education for students with autism spectrum disorders requires a balance of forms of special education and flexible implementation in a general education environment that meets their special educational needs. The educational process for students with special educational needs is a continuous social and educational activity, pedagogically organized taking into account the peculiarities of the personality development of these children in different age periods. Given that the main role in this is played by the teacher, the relevance of the problem of psychological preparation of future teachers to work with students with autism spectrum disorders is increasing.
