The article deals with the issue of tolerance formation in the development of special abilities of the teacher. The article describes the inconsistencies in this concept when interpreted on the basis of different Sciences, as well as the ambiguity of the attitude to it in сcontemporary society. Also explains the consequences of tolerance for socio-cultural differences in the development of special abilities of the teacher. The level of tolerance formation among teachers reflects the results of the study, its manifestations at the level of different categories of persons, and also characterizes the experience of tolerance formation among these teachers.
