The article presents the results of an empirical study on the development of the level of emotional intelligence, the main purpose of which was to demonstrate the need for the development of emotional intelligence for each student for effective educational and work activities. In the course of the study, the results of training exercises aimed at promoting an increase in the level of emotional intelligence of students were analyzed. The empirical part of the study was organized on the basis of universities in the city of Almaty. A total of 40 people took part in the training, and another 40 people were also selected to form a control group. The results obtained showed the effectiveness of the training program. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the exercises can be used in the curriculum, seminars and training programs.
