The article reveals the current state of university professional training for working with children with special educational needs in the general education space.
The inclusion of children with special educational needs in the general educational process raises a number of questions for the pedagogical community: how to teach, what methods and methods of work to apply, what needs to be done so that a child with special educational needs receives a quality education. In turn, the answers to the questions posed can be given by a teacher who is well prepared by the university to work with this category of children.
The article attempts to determine the main directions for preparing future teachers to work in conditions of inclusion with various categories of children, which will be a response to the social order of society.
