This article characterizes the relevance of the study of emotional burnout at the present time, analyzes the causes, stages and symptoms of professional and emotional burnout of employees, discusses the issues of its prevention. A review of the work of scientists who have studied burnout shows ways to prevent burnout among employees. It is noted that emotional burnout does not occur immediately, but due to prolonged fatigue, chronic stress, overstrain, and an exhausted, tired employee loses both industriousness and interest, energy is depleted, and, accordingly, productivity and quality of work decrease. After the theoretical analysis, the experimental results of the study are presented. An example of ongoing psychological preventive work is presented. The importance and ways of preserving the psychological well-being of employees for employers are also emphasized.
