This article was devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the formation of social and household skills of children with autism spectrum disorders. The study examined the nature of social and household skills of children with autism spectrum disorders, their comparability with the patterns of development in normal conditions, the role of social and household skills in the development of children with autism spectrum disorders.

Children with autism spectrum disorder are one of the groups of children who need special knowledge. In children with autism spectrum disorder, the main disorder is considered to be the will area.

Social and household skills – the ability to organize a child's own behavior in various social conditions.

Adequate formation of social and household skills is a set of skills that ensure independence, independent activity of children. The study of the development of social and household skills in children with autism spectrum disorders is reflected in the works of Lebedinskaya, K. S., Nikolskaya, O. S., Sorokin A. B., Zotova M. A., Korovina N.Yu, etc. According to the authors, the formation of social and household skills due to the peculiarities of the behavior of children with autism spectrum disorders is not appropriate for their age. Even if there is a formation of social and household skills, a low level of their independent application is revealed. Therefore, the issues of the development of social and household skills of children with autism spectrum disorders are of deep relevance.

In the course of the article, a small experimental research work was organized, the features of social and household skills of children with autism spectrum disorders were identified, recommendations for their development were given.
