Abstract

One of the main problems in psychology is the formation of interpersonal communication skills in children, since the lack of these skills complicates the process of self-realization and self-realization of the individual in society, leads to the inability to build constructive relationships and the appearance of deviations in the behavior of a younger student. Psychologists emphasize that the work on the formation of interpersonal communication skills should begin at the junior school level, because it is at this stage of age development that the foundation of personal qualities is formed, norms of behavior are fixed. The purpose of the research work: to identify the possibilities and effectiveness of art therapy in the formation of interpersonal relationships of younger schoolchildren. The theoretical aspects of the formation of interpersonal relationships of younger schoolchildren by means of art therapy are considered. It was convinced that the formation of interpersonal relationships of younger schoolchildren is possible by carrying out correctional and developmental work on an effective program composed of exercises of group art therapy. The results of the study allow us to generalize, systematize and supplement information from literature sources about the peculiarities of the use of art therapy methods in order to develop interpersonal relationships of younger schoolchildren.
