The article presents an analysis of the psycho-emotional states problem of students from the position of dependence on the impact of social factors. The issue of psycho-emotional reactions of students to social stimuli is considered, a classification of psycho-emotional states is given, sources of emotional stimuli are discussed. The article presents the results of a study of the psycho-emotional states problem of students during the transition from full-time to distance learning in the context of the COVID - 19 pandemic.
