This article examines the effects of family relationships on the self-esteem of young children. Currently, more and more attention is paid to the self-esteem of a teenager, and as practice shows, upbringing has a strong influence on the self-esteem of a teenager. Parents are the first social environment of the child, and they have a significant impact on the formation of many personal qualities, such as personal autonomy, a sense of security, and self-esteem. The purpose of the study is the influence of parenting style on adolescents' self-esteem. Tasks: to analyze literary sources on the peculiarities of the influence of parenting styles on self-esteem. Study of the level of self-esteem in adolescence. Studying the characteristics and types of families and identifying the characteristics and factors of self-esteem in adolescents, as well as identifying the features of the influence of parental style on self-esteem in adolescence. In this article, one of the research methods is the method of diagnosing self-assessment of the mental state according to G. Eysenck. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that guidelines for parents and adolescents have been developed. Methodological recommendations have also been developed for teachers on the possibility of conducting classes with adolescents to increase self-esteem.
