The article discusses the experience of implementing a model of psychological support for minors with signs of suicidal behavior, developed and applied at the Psychological Center for Suicide Prevention among Children and Adolescents at the City Polyclinic No. 3 in Almaty. The model is based on a consistent system of measures, including the diagnosis of students' psycho-emotional state, the implementation of psychological correction programs, family counseling, and systematic monitoring of results. Considerable attention is paid to interdepartmental cooperation between medical organizations, educational institutions, and social services. The results obtained indicate a decrease in the level of anxiety among adolescents from the risk group, an increase in the effectiveness of preventive measures, and confirm the medical, psychological, and social effectiveness of the model being implemented.
The aim of the study is to analyze and systematize the key elements of the model of psychological support for adolescents at risk of suicidal behavior, tested at the Prevention Center of City Polyclinic No. 3 in Almaty, with justification of its significance and prospects for adaptation.
Research methods: Phillips' school anxiety diagnosis method and Beck's anxiety scale (BAI) were used. Testing was conducted in groups and individually. Data processing was carried out using SPSS Statistics v.27 with the application of descriptive statistics and frequency analysis methods. Case analysis and structural-functional analysis were used to describe and evaluate the model, allowing for a comprehensive review of its content, organization, and practical results.
