Terms of manuscript publication

Journal “Bulletin of Abay KazNPU. Series Psychology” is published with a periodicity of 4 times a year in electronic and printed formats in the following established terms of the journal: the first issue is issued before March 30 of the current year, the second issue - before June 30, the third issue - before September 30, the fourth issue - before December 30.
For publication in the journal “Bulletin of Abay KazNPU. Series Psychology” - are accepted previously unpublished articles in Kazakh, Russian or English languages, corresponding to the thematic areas of the journal and designed strictly following the requirements of the manuscript format.
In scientific articles of the journal the abstract, keywords, and information about the authors, including the following information - names, organizations, countries, and addresses of the author(s) of the publication, indicating the main author, who is the first author in the list of authors, and the author for correspondence is indicated by the sign (*).
The manuscript of a scientific article is submitted to the editorial office by the author for correspondence (determined by the number of authors of the manuscript if there are up to 5 co-authors) not later than two months before the next issue of the journal. Manuscripts of not less than 3000 words and not more than 6000 words (excluding title, information about authors, abstract, keywords, bibliographic list) are accepted for publication in the journal.
The manuscript should be uploaded by the author through the electronic correspondence platform, indicating all methodological articles and their authors. An article by one author (prepared individually or in co-authorship) can be published in the journal no more than once during a calendar year.
The authors are responsible for the reliability, novelty and evidence of the research results. At the stages of work with the manuscript, communication between the editorial board, the author for correspondence and reviewers is carried out through the electronic platform, and in exceptional cases - by e-mail and WhatsApp.
The Editorial Board of the Journal considers the manuscripts received from the author(s), organizes their review and makes a decision on publication or refusal of publication within two months from the date of receipt of the manuscript through the electronic platform.
The author(s) of the manuscript approved for publication in the journal are obliged to pay for publication according to the approved price list for publication in scientific journals of Abai KazNPU - The receipt for publication in pdf format is sent by the author(s) to the e-mail address of the journal editorial office or the responsible secretary.

Policy of free access and archiving

“Journal “Bulletin of Abay KazNPU named after Abay. Psychology Series” provides open access to its content on the official website of the journal. This provides wider information access to the journal in the global scientific community. “Open access” means its free placement on the public Internet, allowing any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of these articles, scan them for indexing, transfer them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose without financial, legal or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the Internet itself.”
The website of the journal provides necessary information for authors and readers about the activities of the journal: conditions of publication, rules of registration and submission of manuscripts to the journal, the procedure of forming the journal and reviewing manuscripts, ethics of publications, information about the editorial board, contact information of the scientific editor and executive secretary.
Readers and authors can familiarize themselves with electronic versions of the current issue of the journal and archives for previous periods on the journal's website. Also, electronic and printed versions of the journal issues are stored in the long-term archive in the university library.
All publications of the journal in electronic form are distributed free of charge and without restrictions under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

Privacy conditions
Information about the authors - their names, affiliation, contact information, position and degree information, as well as links to the identifiers of the authors' profiles in international databases are placed in the article in the section “Information about the authors”.
Members of the Editorial Board of the Journal do not disclose information about the accepted manuscript to third parties before its publication, except for the appointed reviewers. Also, the Editorial Board does not disclose information about reviewers to authors and other persons.
