The relevance of addiction problems is manifested in connection with the constant increase in the number of people with various dependent behaviors. In the last decades of the XX-the beginning of the XXI century, this phenomenon arose as a special problem of gambling, when it acquired important forms and breadths for its social and scientific evaluation. Gambling, being such a powerful socio-psychological phenomenon, has generated a system of changes in people's lives. While halls with slot machines in some cases became city-forming objects, gambling addiction caused all areas of psychotherapy and required psychological research on this issue.
