This article presents the results of experimental studies of mental emotional states of 114 undergraduate students of pedagogical and psychological specialties of the Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University and 80 undergraduate students of the acad. A. Kuatbekov Peoples' Friendship University. Research methods: questionnaire 16PF Kettel (form C). The obtained experimental results demonstrate an increase in the severity of negative emotional states among modern students and indicate the need for psychological and pedagogical support of the digital educational process of university students.
