Abstract

In the scientific article, the authors revealed the social conditions affecting the normal development of a child's language. It was noted that a number of conditions, such as the growing popularity of various gadgets of a modern nature, the predominance of the influence of media products, the problem of mental deprivation, the reproduction of "child bilingualism", hinder the development of a child's speech. Also, the formation of the native language system was considered as the basis for creating a competent language environment.

In recent years, the reasons for the increase in parental complaints about the development of speech and the decrease in the scope of language as a communicative tool have been identified and disclosed.
