This article highlights the topic of age-related characteristics of the development of children's fears. Particular attention is paid to the age period, which cover birth and primary school age (from birth to 11 years). The fears appearing in each age period are indicated. The article discusses the work of A.I. Zakharov, V. G. Kolyagina, S. G. Zubanova and T. L. Shishova.
