Abstract
This article explores the issue of developing emotional intelligence in future educational psychologists using training-based psychotechnologies. In the modern educational landscape, emotional intelligence is regarded as a critical component of a teacher’s professional competence. It enhances effective communication with students, promotes self-regulation, empathy, emotional stability, and stress resilience. The study outlines theoretical perspectives on emotional intelligence, its structure, and its role in professional development. The author's original training program is described in detail, with an emphasis on strengthening essential emotional skills. The findings suggest that training interventions help to foster psychological maturity, increase self-awareness, and improve students’ interpersonal competence. The integration of emotional intelligence training into teacher education programs is highlighted as a vital step toward preparing emotionally competent specialists. The results underline the necessity of a systematic and research-based approach in the development of emotional competencies.
