Abstract

In this article, we will review the history of women's sports, and also, based on the available research of
the authors, we will conduct a theoretical analysis of the influence of gender on sports achievements. Let's
touch on such a concept as sexual dimorphism and consider its impact on sports achievements. Women's
sports in our time is independent and quite developed, has equal rights and scope, as well as men's sports.
However, the scientific community does not proportionately study men and women who play sports.
Modern scientists who advocate for women's rights in sports attribute this to social stereotypes and a small
percentage of articles written by women about women. Lack of knowledge of issues related to the female
body, in turn, can adversely affect the psychophysiology of athletes, as well as the development of women's sports in general. This highlights the relevance, practical and scientific significance of in-depth study of
these issues.
