Population aging is a current trend in countries around the world. Major advancements in medicine have extended the lives and work capacity of elderly people, but adapting to changes during this life stage, overcoming difficulties and crises, requires the use of personal resources and individual aging strategies, which are directly linked to socio-psychological factors. This paper analyzes the socio-psychological factors that help maintain the vitality of elderly people and highlights personal factors that facilitate the implementation of active actions. The practice of implementation and social policy to enhance the activity of elderly people in our country are analyzed.
