Following this logic, the results of a study of the role of parental influence and upbringing on the formation of perfectionism in children as a personality trait are presented. A classification of parenting methods influencing the development of perfectionism in a child is given. The analysis of four types of parental behavior that have an impact on the formation of patterns of perfectionism in the child's thinking is carried out.
