The article deals with the problem of developing stress resistance of journalists. Journalists work under high pressure and often have psychological difficulties associated with work. Symptoms of occupational stress can include physical manifestations such as fatigue, headaches, sleep disorders, as well as emotional and behavioral manifestations such as irritability, anxiety, depression, loss of interest in work, decreased performance, etc. Professional stress can negatively affect the quality of work of journalists, as it can lead to poor concentration, poor decision-making, memory loss, fatigue and other performance-reducing problems. The main stress factors for journalists were identified and recommendations were proposed to stabilize the emotional state of employees. Individual characteristics are identified that determine the level of stress resistance of the personality. The basis has been prepared for the development of a program for the correction and Prevention of stress in the environment of journalism workers.
