Student emotional well-being has become a critical area of research given its significant impact on academic performance, mental health, and overall life satisfaction. This theoretical study explores the determinants of students' emotional well-being, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the factors that shape emotional experiences in an educational setting. The article examines the concept of "emotional well-being" as one of the most important integrative fundamental concepts for the construction and definition of emotional-affective state, subjective experiences of students in today's changing world.
The aim of the study is to conduct a comprehensive theoretical and methodological review of conceptual theories and previously conducted cultural-comparative studies of emotional well-being and dis-being in students studying in their home country and abroad, identification of different theories of cultural dimensions by the authors. The main results of the theoretical study of determinants (factors) influencing well-being, emotional well-being and adjustment of students in adolescence are provided.
The results of the study have important theoretical significance for systematization and conceptualization of the available data, as well as practical significance as a further more extended empirical or experimental study of determining the current structural and level position of students' emotional-affective sphere in an intercultural perspective.
