The article reveals the status of parents and the level of their readiness to participate in correctional support for children with special educational needs. At the same time, taking into account the content side of the interpretation of the concept of "organizational and pedagogical conditions", the measures of influence (environment, content, forms, methods, etc.) that ensure rational work, development as the initial principle of building a system of work with parents are scientifically justified. Based on this approach, the article identifies a set of organizational and pedagogical conditions and shows the orientation of organizational and pedagogical conditions on the final result. This means the inclusion of the family in correctional work. The creation of optimal organizational and pedagogical conditions is an important component of the overall process of including parents in correctional activities. Organizational and pedagogical conditions, interconnected and combined into a single complex, form a rational environment that promotes the development of the personality of parents on the basis of free choice and self-determination. The correct definition, and most importantly, the implementation of organizational conditions and the content component of the process of preparing parents for correctional work is the basis of their readiness and ability to connect to the correctional support of their child.
