The teaching profession is considered one of the most stressful and energy-consuming types of work, that requires the possession of certain personal qualities and competencies. These include resilience and stress tolerance, which are important aspects of psychological training of teachers and help them cope with difficulties and stressful situations in their professional activities. This article is devoted to the study of psychological features of the formation of resilience and stress resistance in teaching staff.
In addition, the article offers interpretations of the concepts of "resilience" and "stress resistance". Furthermore, the key factors of the formation and advantages of the development of resilience and stress resistance, as well as the methods and strategies that can help teachers become more resilient are considered. The analysis of the level of stress resistance among teachers of secondary schools was carried out using an online stress sensitivity test, first proposed by Yu.V. Sherbatykh.
Teachers are recommended to use constructive and adaptive coping strategies to develop stress resistance and resilience. Further research in this area can help develop effective programs and tools to support teaching staff and improve their psychological and professional well-being.
